Baauer & RL Grime – Infinite Daps

Baauer and RL Grime are two of the best Trap producers out there. It was a matter of time that the two would make a track together. In the year 2013 it finally happened that they both went on tour together and they used the opportunity to produce one of my favourite trap songs of all time.

The song Infinite Daps was named after the tour, Baauer, RL Grime , Ryan Hemsworth and Jim-E-Stack went on together. The fact that they called the track like that shows how important it was and probably still is for Baauer and RL Grime. The tour even got a documentary which you can watch here

Anzo – Colony

Anzo is a producer from the USA who has a talent for creating atmospheric melodies while still maintaining the groove of electronic dance music. It has been 11 months since his last EP was released so it is time to relive some older tunes from Anzo.

The one song that I like the most is the track Colony from his Moonbound EP which was released in 2014. It begins with a really atmospheric part with beautiful thunderstorm sounds and a really smooth synth. After a while the drums kick in and it sounds really beautiful, threatening and peaceful at the same time.

Definitely one of my fav tracks of 2014 if not all time. It is really hard to find something similiar and I kind of give up by now and accept the fact that Anzo is just really unique with his style.

Flush – Relax [FREE DL]

Flush is a relatively unknown Funk House producer. His most recent track is a fresh twist on the 80’s song Relax from the british band Frankie Goes To Hollywood. Together with a clean saxophone and some funky drums it creates a completely new atmosphere.

MrPrototypeRaptor – Singularity [FREE DL]

MrPrototypeRaptor is a producer from the USA who makes Electronic music. His influences are other musicians such as deadmau5, Justice, Wolfgang Gartner, Daft Punk and other legendary producers.

His latest single is called Singularity and it’s not the sound I was used to hear from MrPrototypeRaptor. When I started the song I thought I was listening to some Psy-Trance track but that changed as soon as the first drop came in. I was impressed at how unique it sounds. I normally don’t hear music that is so “different” but I somehow like these metallic sounds and the kicks fit so perfect that I can’t dislike it.

Mord Fustang – Lick The Rainbow (Original Mix)

Mord Fustang is an Electro and Dubstep Producer from Estonia who is known for video game influences in his music. Since I first discovered him on Beatport back when Super Meat Freeze first came out I was hooked. His style was unique and really interesting and I especially liked the video game influence the music had because I loved playing those myself.

But Super Meat Freeze is not my favourite Mord Fustang track. The song that I first think of when I hear the name Mord Fustang has to be Lick The Rainbow. Realeased shortly after Super Meat Freeze it has a similiar style but way more complex. I had to think about the Song after Mord released a short Mixtape of unreleased material on Soundcloud (Listen here). After listening to it I started his debut album 9999 in 1 which was released in 2015 but I suddenly got the urge to listen to his older tracks too so I ended up listening to Lick The Rainbow all day.

Me & My Toothbrush – All The Time (Radio Mix)

Me & My Toothbrush is a Indie Dance and Nu Disco duo from Siwtzerland. They are currently signed to Enormous Tunes which also signed producers like Croatia Squad and Nora En Pure.

All The Time is from their new Drop That EP which was released on the 9th May 2016. It’s a great Nu Disco track with hard kicks and a strong bassline. To top it off it features samples from Blackstreet’s No Diggity which give the song a nice 90’s feel to it.

You can listen to the track below:

Welcome To My Blog!

Hey!

Welcome to my Blog. Here you will find a new (or old) song that I really like everyday. The songs can be from any genre that you can think of and there is no system behind the posts.

So before you start reading through the posts that are already on here (or not depending on how early you found this blog) I want to tell you a bit about myself. I’m a student from Germany who really likes music. Especially electronic music speaks to me since the first songs I remember hearing as a kid were some electronic beats. Recently I decided I don’t want to only listen to music alone but to share my favourite songs with others as well which is the reason behind this blog.

I hope you will enjoy this blog as much as I do and if you have suggestions as to what I can do better, feel free to send me a message 🙂 You can send me a message here.
